Warm Winter Drive

An annual event where UHeights partners with various community organizations to provide warm essentials to our low-income and unhoused community members during the frigid winter weather. This initiative aims to distribute basic supplies such as coats, hats, gloves, and blankets to equip those most vulnerable throughout the season.

Coming on Sunday, November 3, 2024!

Available Resources

  • Resource Booths & Mobile Clinics: Local organizations distribute warm winter essentials including warm clothes, coats, socks and underwear, gloves, umbrellas, hygiene products, first-aid kits, blankets, pet supplies, and food. They also equip community members with information to get folks connected with ongoing programs and a pathway to housing.

  • Free Haircuts: Volunteer cosmetologists and barbers provide basic haircuts throughout the event to empower and equip community members.

These resources are available through generous donations from community organizations. If you are interested in partnering, contributing, or volunteering email our Program Manager, Shirin Subhani.
