One of the perks of our beautiful facility is that we are able to have many local artisans and teachers put on events and activities for the community in our open rooms and spaces!

Chickadee Music Together of Seattle

 

$215 for the 10 week course

Music Together is an internationally recognized, researched-based innovative music and movement program for children ages newborn to five years and their parents or caregivers, that is based on the belief that all children are inherently musical.

Rainy Day Dinner Club

$60 per class or $200 for all 4 ($240 value)

Each week, students learn basic cooking skills while making dinner for their family! Students will create delicious dishes focusing on the importance of local ingredients, scratch cooking and natural preservatives while practicing kitchen safety. Each entrée made feeds a family of 6!

Casey's Club

Candida Crane and Daphne Sumpter offer Seattle (U-District) their first ever Casey's Club™. They run two groups this year: a primary club for 1st-3rd graders and an intermediate club for 4th-5th graders. Please come join them for a fun filled, skills building year!

Royal Scottish Dance Class

The Seattle Branch is a nonprofit corporation in the State of Washington. All members of the Branch are members of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, 12 Coates Crescent, Edinburgh, Scotland. The Branch teaches weekly classes in several locations in the greater Seattle area and gathers for monthly social dances and special occasion events, holds dance workshops, and gives dance demonstrations at community events.

Spooked in Seattle: Ghost Tours

$40 per person

Venture on this two hour ghost hunt as we take you to many of the buildings haunted hot spots, learning the basics in ghost hunting before you explore its hauntings in complete utter darkness.

Michelle Badion: Argentine Tango Performance Class

 

$15 per class or 4 for $40

Improve your social dancing by learning the secrets of performing.

Feel comfortable dancing in front of others. This class will help you

to be ready to dance next time you are asked to do

a demo for your friends or have a chance to perform in the showcase.

Try to find a partner to take the class with,
but for the first few weeks you can come solo and we'll pair you up.

There will be very little partner changing.

The Modern Katana Academy:

Japanese Combat Arts

 

$60 per month 

Lessons will include super-conditioning training with advanced, sword maneuvering for a challenging, precise and exciting means of building self-defense skills.

 

Students will also learn open-hand strikes, vital-point recognition, and varied weapon knowledge. All training concepts are taught as a relevant means to utilize in a real-world, self-defense situation.

 

An initial purchase of a training Shinai is required.

Three Dragons Academy's Emerald City History Hunt

The students of Three Dragons Academy have spent all April learning about Seattle history and creating a fabulous treasure hunt through Seattle’s history just for you! 

 

The HISTORY HUNT is an exploration through Seattle’s timeline. It Is designed as a full day, or multi-day, family field trip.  Using art, architecture, parks and people, the students have traveled through time to create this hunt.

Move and Grow for Parents/Toddlers and Preschoolers

 

$144 per 12 week session,

(sibling discounts available)

Dance with your child while exploring movement activities and practicing skills. Music, props, rhythm instruments, and an obstacle course are all included in this super fun and educational class!

Move and Grow classes also incorporate Brain Dance rhymes to integrate the mind and body, while reinforcing the importance of movement in early life! Caregivers are always welcome!
