You'll bring your stories to life in a supportive and inspiring environment. We'll do generative storytelling exercises where you'll surprise yourself with the creative perspectives you share. You'll have the chance to get to know other Seattle storytellers and practice sharing your own stories.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Saya Jenks (she/her) is a community-rooted theatre educator who has told stories live onstage at The Moth, led highschoolers in devising their own original plays, taught theatre at New York University, and leads workshops in creativity and social connections at organizations ranging from The Public Theatre to Google to Bloomberg. She is a board member of the American Alliance for Theatre & Education, a nonprofit that provides professional development for drama teachers across the country.

What to bring/wear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you can move in and bringing a water bottle as you'll be chatting with lots of new pals.
