Synopsis:
Harold (Bud Cort), a depressed young man, stages elaborate fake suicides to horrify his socialite mother and spends his days attending strangers' funerals — until he meets 79-year-old Maude (Ruth Gordon), a free-spirited force of nature who helps teach him to grab life by the balls. The movie has a phenomenal soundtrack by Cat Stevens.
