After being released from a psychiatric hospital, Lee Holloway (Maggie Gyllenhaal) takes a job as secretary for the eccentric Mr. Grey (James Spader). It soon becomes clear that both Lee and Mr. Grey have some unconventional ideas about her new role. This 2002 erotic dark comedy premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won a Special Jury Prize for originality.
