Grown Up Drama Club

  • Room 209 (The Auditorium) 5031 University Way Northeast Seattle, WA, 98105 United States (map)

This weekly class series combines improv, personal storytelling, and drama games that will help you flex your creative muscles, build confidence and public speaking skills, and tap into your silly side.

Our classes are about more than just performance skills: our curriculum builds in time for getting to know the actual humans behind the characters you’re playing (that is to say, the community building & friendship-making are just as important as the improv skills!). If you’re looking for a weekly creative ritual that will help you fight the Seattle Freeze, this class is for you!

We'll cover topics such as devising, scene work, character building, improvisation, stage presence, and physical theatre. This class is inclusive of all experience levels, whether you’re a total beginner or have done lots of theatre before.

8 weeks starting Monday, June 1 from 7pm-9pm at the UHeights Auditorium Room 209.
