At UHeights, you can express your creativity, get involved in your community, and expand your knowledge all while getting to know your neighbors.
No history of land on America is complete without an acknowledgment of the indigenous people who preceded us. We acknowledge and honor the Duwamish as the host indigenous tribe of the land we gather on. Today, the Duwamish tribe is made of roughly 600 members and is dedicated to the preservation of their peoples' rich history on this land and promoting the social, cultural, and economic survival of their tribe.
To support the Duwamish tribe, learn more about their culture and history and donate to Real Rent Duwamish where all funds go to Duwamish Tribal Services to justly compensate the tribe for their land, resources, and livelihood. To know whose land you are on visit https://native-land.ca/
We celebrate creativity and culture in our building by partnering and hosting theatre organizations' shows and classes through our Theatre Alliance. In addition, we showcase local artists in our Artist Collective throughout our building.
We partner with other organizations to contribute to the mutual aid in our community. Our human services aim to provide accessibility to free food, housing, and hygiene services.
Grow your learning by physically and intellectually stimulating yourself with our Zumba and Thursdays at 10 program classes.
