The People's Breakfast

 

Serving: Sunday 9:30 - 10:30 AM (or until food supply runs out)

 

Food, water, and housing are interconnected human rights. Recognizing the gaps in Seattle public services to meet these human rights, Ali Alonso, ROOTS Young Adult Shelter case manager, and JJ Bartlett partnered with the Doorway Project and UHeights to host The People's Breakfast. Run by Seattle Democratic Socialist of America volunteers, they serve 35 people regularly.

NW Share: Free Vegetarian Food Truck

 

Serving: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM*

 

UHeights is proud to host NorthWest SHARE’s Free Vegetarian Food Truck that serves FREE hot vegetarian meals four times a week. They are serving the University District and Seattle community every week in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. At least 180 persons come for nutritious meals on scheduled days.

*Note: Free Vegetarian Food Truck will not be at UHeights on June 4, June 18, July 30, July 31, September 3, and September 4.

UHeights is proud to serve as a host site for Seattle Community Fridge. The goal of a community fridge is to fight food insecurity, along with food waste, by providing FREE food to those in need. Anyone is able to donate and food. Take what you need, Leave what you can!

Subvert UD

Serving: Sunday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM (or until food supply runs out)

 

Subvert UD is a youth and student-led club where volunteers and club members come together to provide free hot meals. They serve a variety of FREE meals like quesadillas, grilled sandwiches, chicken-based meals, and more!
