UHeights is hosting a Zoom meeting in order to continue our Thursdays at 10 meetings via video chat! Discussion Group will be meeting on the second Thursday of the month. Join us! 

October's group discussion will center around what changes we would like to see after the election.  The Oct. 5th issue of The New Yorker has an editorial about their reasons to think we need a change in leadership.  Following that, there are 5 thoughtful pieces, each piece by a reputable writer, about the crises a new administration will face:

Health Care

Climate Crisis

Civil Rights

Voting Rights

Foreign Policy

Let's talk about what can be done in the beginning of 2021 to fix the acute problems in any or all of those areas.

You don't need to read the articles to have opinions, and if you don't agree that there are problems, let's throw that in the mix too!
