About the Event

The Legacy Project is a community forum series based on Zine curriculum that artist Tyreesha Jenkins has researched for, cultivated, and pieced together herself.

UHeights invites you to the introductory event "Building Mosaics of Home" where Tyreesha will share her process and inspire you to reflect life into works of art of your own. Come share the collaborative experience and take home some of the work!

You can join us anytime between 11 am to 4 pm. This event is free and open to the public, all ages and artistic capacities are encouraged and welcome. Materials will be provided, feel free to bring your own inspirations if you like!

Come back to keep building your legacy book and adding more to it at any (or all!) of the 5 bi-weekly Sunday afternoon meetings based on the following topics:

1). Peace in Pieces - 9/29

2). Somos Fuentes, Somos Puentes - 10/13

3). Afro-Indigenous - 10/27

4). PARENTHOOD - 11/17

5). Water Is Sacred - 12/1
