About the Event
Tasveer is hosting their 16th annual South Asian Film Festival and 3rd South Asian LitFest throughout the month of October to amplify underrepresented South Asian voices, place a spotlight on South Asian artists, and create a safe space for dialogues within our communities.
Through the Tasveer Festival, Tasveer strives to carry the mission of stimulating thinking and social change through storytelling, helping to empower, transform, heal, and entertain attendees. Their diverse programs will encourage people to start and hold dialogues focused on South Asian stories regarding representation, equity, climate change, LGBTQ issues, women’s rights, and much more.
