About the Event
Dance and skip your way to the Summer Park Pop Up! On the first Saturday of July, August, and September, University Heights Center + University District Farmers Market presents food, music, and art in the park. This event is free for all ages to enjoy.
Come early and spread out your blanket on the lawn. Enjoy a collective community atmosphere. Get to know your neighbors while the kids dance to the sounds of live music on the main stage. Meet your local farmers and food vendors, buy a pint of strawberries to snack on, and experience some of the wonderful artwork the UHeights community is creating.
Food:
Bring friends because you’ll want to sample all the eats. In addition to all our U-District farmers market regulars, feast on tamales by El Chito, Poulet Galore’s delicious rotisserie chicken and sides, fresh local seafood by Mystery Bay Coastal Cuisine, and flavorful plates from Geni's Ethiopian Corner. Sample craft spirits and buy some for your bar cart made from Yakima apples courtesy of Swede Hill Distilling. For dessert snag something from Seattle Pops.
