Sip n' Sketch with artist Kiam Wright

Each participant will receive a sheet of drawing paper with a very light outline of the design to get started, as well as a mechanical pencil, a fine point mechanical eraser, an 8B dark shading pencil, and a tortillon (smudge tool).

You will discuss and execute each step of the rendering process as Kiam demonstrates and provides guidance.

The rendering process includes a mostly light to dark technique, generally starting with the eyes, gradually building layers in pencil, refining lines, edges, blending, and light areas combining the use of the fine point eraser and tortillon.

Together, you will move on, section by section, bringing each element of the design to completion.
