Scarecrow's Children's Hour at UHeights
Time & Location
About the Event
UHeights is excited to host Scarecrow Video's Children's Hour, a FREE educational program (ideal for Pre-K) on Saturday mornings at 11:30 in the Auditorium.
Using a combination of short films from Scarecrow, storybooks, arts activities, and science experiments, children are able to learn new concepts alongside peers in a fun environment. Bring your children and spend an hour with us.
This season, Children's hour will repeat its Thursday sessions that take place at Scarecrow Video, on Saturdays in room 209 of the UHeights Center.
The theme for this season is "Earth, Wind and Fire: The Elements of LIfe".
For the session on March 7th, we will explore life Under the Sea. The kids will see videos of the Great Barrier Reef and learn about underwater creatures and how to protect critical reef habitat. Marva will read a special Pete the cat book, and we will make undersea mobiles and fish masks.
