About the Event

Late Night Dim Sum, in association with Pork Filled Productions and the University Heights Theatre Alliance, presents a staged reading of Small Journeys Before the Unbreakable Dawn, a new play by Preston Choi, Monday, May 20, at 7:30 pm, at the Auditorium at the University Heights Community Center (5031 University Way NE, Seattle, WA).

Dawn is about to break over a sleepy city, but bakers, drinkers, parents, and pigeons are already on the go, also a hungry rabbit that lives on the moon. Lives, green and mature, human and animal, weave and wobble on their ways, Small Journeys Before the Unbreakable Dawn is a surreal kaleidoscope of life in the ephemeral time before the Sun rises.

Small Journeys is directed by Mario Gomez and features the work of Eva Estrada-Campos, Frankie Sun, Kathy Hsieh, Manny Golez, Michael D. Blum, Owen Yen, Stephen Sumida, Sunam Ellis and Aviona Rodriguez Brown.
