Infinity Box Theatre presents: InVerse Functions

Join UHeights Theatre Alliance member, Infinity Box Theatre Project for InVerse Functions, a theatrical evening of science poetry! Think of it as a poetry journal in theater form.

Poems about, or inspired by, science and scientific ideas provide – among other things – a deeply human perspective on what science is and how it has come to pervade human experience. There are a surprising number of science poems spanning a surprising length of time.

Our curator, Pamela Hobart Carter, has gathered science poems by (mostly) contemporary poets – many of them local – as well as some by scientists, to constitute the “script” for our theater-like evening. Lenore Bensinger will direct an ensemble of actors to perform them.

You will also have the opportunity to meet many of the poets and buy their books!

Ticketing: Our Pay-What-You-Can model allows our events to be more accessible to the community! We have no minimum or maximum amount suggested, we simply ask you to pay what you can.
