Instructor Teague Parker will lead you through a combination of acting techniques and foundational improv skills to help you build an awareness of your creative impulses and the blocks that may be denying you from a completely vulnerable performance.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP Led by Teague M. Parker as part of his Improv for Wellness work, this workshop will serve as an introduction to Improv as well as provide a mindset that allows trust in vulnerability for any audition, rehearsal, and performance for any field: artistic or otherwise.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Teague M. Parker (He/Him/His) is an Actor, Playwright, Improviser, Producer, and Teaching Artist focused on bringing art to new audiences! A graduate from Western Washington University, he founded “Come Up Productions” which highlights up-and-coming artist, while bringing Free Theatre & Live Events to the Washington community. With over ten years of improv experience, He has developed “Improv for wellness” workshops, classes, and training for groups ranging from professional Improvisers, business entrepreneurs, and people simply looking to develop a better love and awareness of themselves. Teague’s improv training will help you feel confident and free in any passion you pursue.

DARK (on mondays) is a monthly, drop-in, PWYC workshop for those who are looking to gain community and explore their creativity--without having to break the bank. Come one time, come a few times, come each time! We want to find our light with you!

ABOUT FILAMENT: A COLLAB LAB

Filament is a PNW lab theatre company founded in 2016 by Brittany Allyson, Nathan Brockett, and Sophia Franzella. Filament focuses on devising new work through minimalism, imagination, and collaboration! Both producers of new work and incubators of creative experiments, Filament strives to provide Seattle with affordable, artistic experiences (both indoors and outside!). All are welcome. Let’s collaborate together!
