"Cabaret" (1972), winner of 8 Academy Awards including Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Director, and of course Best Music. This flamboyant musical made an even bigger star of Liza Minnelli. The film occupies a place between "The Sound of Music" and "Moulin Rouge!" It is the American Film Institute's 63rd greatest American movie.

THEATER THURSDAYS is the series of American classic films shown in the University Heights Auditorium. This is a lovely old school auditorium restored with a large projection and sound system. Popcorn, drinks, and movie theater snacks are available for purchase. We'll have some light fare available after the film for anyone who would like to stay and chat.

Please note that tonight's movie will be shown in Room 108 instead of the auditorium, due to a schedule conflict. Popcorn will still be available, as will the after movie snacks!
